During your time abroad you will live in London, within easy travel of the AIFS Global Education Centre and the many museums, galleries, theaters and green open spaces of central London. Housing will be in shared rooms in a student residence. Self catering cooking facilities.
Internet access is included in all AIFS housing in London.

A travel pass for use in Zones 1 and 2 on buses, underground (tubes) and overground trains on the London Transport system
London has a diverse range of peoples and cultures, and more than 300 languages are spoken within its boundaries. London had topped 9 million people in 2020.
London is home to numerous museums, galleries, libraries, sporting events and other cultural institutions, including the British Museum, National Gallery, Tate Modern, British Library and 40 West End theaters.
London’s transportation system is also renowned, and the London Underground is the oldest underground railway network in the world.
Studying in London with AIFS Abroad gives you access to a professional team of academic and student services staff who will work with you to create a supportive and nurturing environment and ensure that AIFS participants engage in the local community and experience London in a deeper way.

AIFS staff arrange a rich variety of activities to introduce students to life in the United Kingdom. There is an additional fee for many of these activities, but they offer an inexpensive way to experience London’s exciting cultural life and to see other parts of Britain. Besides arranged activities, there is always a wide range of events taking place in and around London, concerts, theater in the parks and much, much more. Information on these events will be made available to students upon arrival in London.
Students at the London Global Education Center have access to classrooms, a student lounge, student services office, free wifi and printing services.

Students can select an optional transportation package for all AIFS programs. Students who choose to book their own flights should meet up with group at the program location and will need to make their own ground transportation arrangements.

One of the best things you can do before departure is enter into the journey knowing that your time abroad will be unique to this experience.
